Defected talent search update

It was only two weeks ago that Defected Records launched their producer competition in conjunction with Beatport – with the enviable prize of the winning track being signed to Defected later this year as well as being professionally mixed down by The Shapeshifters.

The response has been staggering. Currently over 1000 tracks have been submitted, with more than 5,000 people signing up within the first 5 days of the launch. There is a wealth of undiscovered dance music talent from around the globe out there.

That said, with two weeks of the competition still remaining, there’s still time to get involved either by entering a track or by rating and commenting on other people’s tracks which could be hitting a dancefloor near you soon.
