London-based house bastion Defected Records will celebrate its 10th birthday in February with a special five disc CD compilation containing 60 of the label’s most famous releases.

With a back catalog that includes Roger Sanchez ‘Another Chance’, Kings Of Tomorrow ‘Finally’, Dennis Ferrer ‘Sandcastles’ and Bob Sinclar ‘World Hold On’ the commemorative pack is likely to be packed full of essential house classics.

Defected have also planned a 10-date world tour for their 10-year anniversary with the first bash set to take place at London’s Ministry of Sound on January 24th.

But in a break from the traditional dance music mould, the tour will only feature a live band to “bring to life” some of the label’s most famous anthems by utilizing the original vocalists such as Julie McKnight, who sang on KOT’s ‘Finally’.
