Deep Haven Music Stays Strong
17 September, 2007 | 12.26PM- Section: Music News Topics: House Nation
Those in the know will echo our sentiments that the Deep Haven label can do no wrong.
Quintessential purveyors of sophisticated soulful house infused with funk and jazz traits and vocals to match their sublime production qualities.
In the last few years, they’ve given us essential offerings from the likes of Arnold Jarvis, Carolyn Harding and Blvd East.
Their latest output is up there too, with Scott Wozniak following up ‘Your Unconscious Mind’ and ‘Surrender’ with the shuffling Grove Assassins Jazz Remix of the spoken ‘My Light’.
Meanwhile, KT Brooks ups the tempo to near-samba rhythms for her swinging ‘Love’ – a subtle vocal affair made for the connoisseur.
Deep Haven Music is also set to release their first compilation, ‘Sunset Nights-Miami Beach’.
Mixed by DJ Man-X it will include material by the aforementioned Carolyn Harding, Scott Wozniak, Blvd East and Stephanie Renee amongst others.
No excuses now, it’s time for you to discover why many of us have been quietly shouting the praises of this label.
