Decibel Festival: discounted passes available until Friday

Seattle’s Decibel festival returns this September with a lineup the likes of which have never been seen in the Pacific Northwest before. (The Cascadians on Beatport’s staff can confirm that.) Moby and Amon Tobin occupy the twin headline slots; the former will appear in his capacity as DJ, always an enticing proposition, while Tobin will present the U.S. debut of his ISAM live show, a multimedia performance that has been turning heads across Europe.

Between those two poles, the lineup represents some of the most exciting tendencies in contemporary electronic dance music—and ropes in some truly legendary figures. Spread across multiple venues, the five-day festival includes Ladytron, Green Velvet, Bonobo, DJ Krush, Holy Fuck, Mad Professor, Martyn, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Zomby, Chateau Flight, Ulrich Schnauss, Julio Bashmore, Quantic, oOoOO, I:Cube, Martin Buttrich, Oval, Alexi Delano, Bok Bok, Mountains, dOP, Girl Unit, Blondes, Kyle Hall, Egyptrixx, Mike Huckaby, Deniz Kurtel, Araabmuzik, Kate Simko, Salva, Truckasauras, Matthewdavid, Jon McMillion, and many more.

Until this Friday, July 15, all-access passes to the festival are on sale for $175, after which they’ll increase to $200. See here for ticketing information, and keep checking the festival website for further announcements about showcases, conferences, lineup additions, and more.
