World-renowned producer and composer launches MusicIz.

Atlanta GA – Dean Coleman today announced a deal that will make Coleman’s signature sound and much sought-after remixes available via Coleman’s new dance label, MusicIz, to be distributed by Beatport, the industry’s #1 download site for dance music.

Coleman, whose long list of remix credits include Coldplay, Shakira, The Fugees, Deep Dish, Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Josh Wink, Annie Lennox, and Justin Timberlake, to name a few, is excited at the prospect of making his original compositions available to a global audience from a single online source.

“Having my work spread over a handful of other labels has been very gratifying, but it’s also caused some problems for people looking for my latest releases,” said Coleman. “In creating MusicIz, my goal is to provide one location for all my work, so that instead of hearing about a new record I’ve done and having to track it down, people can just go straight to Beatport.”

Coleman’s releases will now be available exclusively at Beatport.

Coleman’s first MusicIz release, Starting Over, says it all. “A lot of the time you do something, and you’ll spend six months just trying to find a label for it. Having the ability to start a project on Friday, and put it out the next week is a new beginning for me.”
