Ibiza crisis: DC10 to reopen

It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for: DC10 in Ibiza is set to reopen this coming Monday 25th June, two weeks after it was ordered to stay shut by the island’s authorities over drug and security allegations.

Amnesia and Bora Bora, the two other clubs ordered to close on 8th June are believed to be still in negotiations with authorities, but as far as DC10’s Circoloco are concerned, it’s a major victory.

“Ibiza is not dead, we’re back in action,” said Circoloco’s boss Andrea Pelino.

It’s not clear how or why the government has revoked its decision to close DC10 - the club was ordered to stay shut for two months.

It’s also rather peculiar that Amnesia and Bora Bora must still remain closed.

But for Ibiza’s clubbers, DJs, workers and electronic music fans around the world, it’s time to rejoice.
