While dubstep has gone charging forward over the past couple of years, developing in a dozen different directions at once, drum ‘n’ bass has sometimes felt stuck in its own lockstep groove. But no one has been more instrumental (no pun intended) at bridging the worlds of drum ‘n’ bass and cutting-edge bass music than dBridge and Instra:mental. Their Autonomic podcast and label have played a key role in disseminating an exciting new wave of d’n’b sounds and ideas.
