DATABASE is Lucio Morais and Yuri Chix, which have known each other forever. The duo had their debut at the Caravana da Coragem, but it was with the rise of the collective Paulistano Crew that the duo defined their style. Crazy over French house and names like Daft Punk, Cassius and Les Rhythmes Digitales, they bring beats and influences from disco, funk and soul. Add to this the maximal sound of Justice and MSTRKRFT, and the result is a mix of impeccable production, DJ sets and live recordings capable of causing collective catharsis on the dancefloor.

Residents of the Crew in Gloria and of D-edge which became one of the most talked-about parties in Brazil. Their productions include remixes for projects which have exploded on the national scene, including NRK, Bo$$ in Drama, Jo Mistinguett, Madame Mim, Edu K., Mix Hell besides the French Yelle and Thieves Like Us, The Kills, Private, Lightspeed Champion, Fatboy Slim(the Bpa), Larry Tee, Scenario Rock, NASA, Bonde Do Role, Golden Bug, French Horn Rebellion and re-edits of classics like Ritchie Family, Curtis Mayfild, George Benson, The Jbs and etc. The idea is that no-one can keep still. With well-thought-out production and sets full of inventive and nonlinear grooves, DATABASE’s only real interest is in getting everyone to dance.
