Classic house music doesn’t get more anthemic than Joe Smooth’s ‘Promised Land’ which helped put Chicago house on the map.
The track speaks of how humans as brothers and sisters will all make it to the ‘Promised Land’.
That might sound religious, but in this case, its unifying words mean a lot to the dance community.
