Resident Advisor tipped us off to this concise video history of Daft Punk, which takes us “Around the World” with the French duo in five minutes. Beatport isn’t currently carrying Daft Punk’s new score to the Tron: Legacy film, but judging by the critical reception, you’re not missing much! (As an alternative, might we suggest Joker’s heavyweight dubstep anthem ”Tron”? Or, if dubstep’s not your thing, perhaps a track of the same name from Stephan Bodzin, The Panacea, Ursula Rucker, Anti-Pop Consortium, Pier Bucci, or Huggotron...)

If it’s vintage Daft Punk you’re after, you couldn’t do much better than the ”Disco Cubism” EP or the duo’s classic remix of Scott Grooves’ ”Mothership Reconnection,” recently included on Ministry of Sound’s The Underground Ibiza 2010 comp.
