Fergie’s Excentric Muzik label continues to shine with these 2 equally impressive remixes of previous release Slazenger, from Germany’s D-Nox & Beckers and Italy’s Joseph Capriati.

2010 so far has seen Excentric Muzik deliver a string of high quality releases, Fergie’s Ragaroo, Motion and Slazenger tracks, the Motion remixes from Christian Smith and Erphun plus the collaboration EP from Erphun and Subfractal have all excelled in their own right and picked up many plaudits along the way.

With the original mix of Slazenger still fresh in the minds and on heavy rotation for many, it’s time for the interpretations to drop, from 2 artists both making their debuts on Fergie’s flagship label.

D-Nox & Beckers weave a truly intricate journey through their light and rhythmical take, offering a variety of subtle textures, from delicate drums and tripped out rises to waves of white noise, with regular hints of the original sprinkled throughout this achingly good remake.

Fresh from his recent album on Analytic Trail, Joseph Capriati goes for a slightly more direct route with his remix as a heavy, hypnotising, driving groove takes control. Solid hi-hats and tight delays dictate clever twists and turns whilst the original wistful chords are used to full effect, achieving nothing less than a fully grooved out dance-floor.
