Copenhagen’s Culture Box recently launched Culture Dox, a series of short video interviews with electronic musicians. The second installment went up yesterday, featuring chats with Delta Funktionen and Conforce, two Dutch artists known for their classic, sensual approach to deep techno.

Delta Funktionen has a brand new release out this week, a stunning remix of Nemanja Nikolic’s ‘Is the Future Still There?’ on Dpress Industries. The original tracks offer a nice variety of moody dub-techno atmospheres, and Delta Funktionen’s remix is a hard-charging version that doesn’t forget the importance of funk.

Conforce, meanwhile, recently released his ‘Black Stroke’ EP for Modelisme Records. It’s slightly less dub influenced than many of his other records, with a deeper Detroit influence and lovely melodies. KiNK and Neville Watson turn the title track into a flat-out gorgeous piano-house number with a wriggling acid bassline that feels like 1989 all over again.
