Crowdpleaser & St. Plomb
6 September, 2007 | 1.22PMFarm house anyone? Swiss duo Crowdpleaser
& St. Plomb
drop a groovy bunch of remixes following on from their critically acclaimed album ‘2006’, which includes the UND
remix of ‘Today’ that standouts from the current crop of minimal due to its rooster noises, odd wails and animal noises. Freaking out the dancefloor is always fun, and ‘Today’ will certainly raise a few eyebrows should you drop it in the middle of your set.
There’s also some dirty evil minimal on ‘2006 Remixes Part 1’ [listen to Part 1 in the player below] courtesy of Dachshund.
His remix of ‘Zukunft’ is proper heads down techno.
Acid house fans will be pleased by the 303 nastiness of A Jackin’ Phreak’s remix of ‘1,2,3’.
On ‘2006 Remixes Part 2’ the same track gets remixed twice.
Quenum’s mix is a tight tech house chunker whilst Donato Dozzy’s remix is a slow burner.
All the big techno DJs are into both these releases.
