Creamfields capacity increased

Creamfields capacity increased

Rocketing demand for tickets to Liverpudlian festival Creamfields has lead to an increase in its capacity.

The big dance event, which takes place at Daresbury estate on August Bank Holiday in Cheshire has been granted a license this year for an extra 5000 punters, which pushes its capacity to 49,999.

Why they couldn’t just make it the big round 50,000 is anyone’s guess.

“The move to increase the capacity was necessary after a fantastic last few years for the event – this just goes to show that Creamfields has cemented its position at the centre of the UK’s burgeoning festival scene,” commented James Barton, CEO of Cream.

With headliners that include The Chemical Brothers [a], Groove Armada, Kelis, Mark Ronson, 2many DJs, Carl Cox [a] and LCD Soundsystem it’s no wonder that Creamfields’ tickets are going like hot cakes.
