Black Bridge is happy to announce our second release from legendary New York underground producer and dj, Cosmic Rocker (of Codek Records, Organic Grooves, and In Flagranti fame).

‘Action Breaks’ is the second release from Colorado label Black Bridge.

Brooklyn’s Cosmic Rocker lays it down with 6 of these super sweet down-tempo breaks.

The Action Breaks EP covers some very interesting musical ground. All six tracks are anchored with economically crafted breaks. This beautiful rhythm structure opens the tracks up for deep melodic elements, psychedelic movements, and driving basslines. Throw in some disembodied vocals, and serve piping hot! Tonic starts the funk with its chase scene samples and thumping breakbeat. Hubert Von Filter is a head nodding little number just perfect for getting your groove on with that sexy thing that just walked onto the dance floor. Freddy on Drums is an ominous down-tempo thumper with a dark minor key bassline and incredible vocals. It’s coal mining music! Glocen and Bob Sled are driving dancers that tip their hats to the sunny side of the mind while keeping your feet moving. Electric Hair Dub is a solid state dub with magic vocals and engrossing stabs.
