Competition: Got a Roland Juno synth? Want another?
24 April, 2009 | 3.34PMRoland US has launched a competition for anyone who owns one of their legendary Juno synths.
They’re asking Juno owners to upload innovative and entertaining videos of themselves to YouTube showing how they use their Juno keyboard for the chance to win one of three Juno-Stage keyboards.
“The sounds in the Juno keyboards have been inspiring musicians since 1982,” explained Vince LaDuca, Roland’s Product Marketing Manager. “The Juno has defined the sound of entire pop genres, and can be heard on tons of classic recordings. We want to hear from the rest of the world about how the Juno-Series synthesizers have impacted their lives.”
The Juno-106 in particularly has been popular, with dance bands like Justice, Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers still using the keyboard in their studios and live sets today.
The grand prize winner will receive a Juno-Stage plus two SRX expansion boards of their choice, whilst two runners-up will each receive a Juno-Stage.
The Juno-Stage keyboard is a 128 voice expandable synth with a song player.
