Radioactive Man runs the Control Tower label and here he presents the new Moon Disco electro smasher ‘Communication To None EP’ as no.13 of his catalog.

Moon Disco are from Lithuania and their sound fits somewhere in between Bochum Welt and Drexciya.

Since electro records rarely get released these days, it was quite a surprise to stumble across this beauty on Beatport.

Let me clarify my use of the term “electro” here: it has nothing to do with electro house or the electro-prog style currently coming out of the UK, but rather this sound is based on where it all started: 808 beats, in the tradition of Underground Resistance and their contemporaries.

All three tracks on ‘Communication To None EP’ are deep and fresh, but the highlight comes from Radioactive Man himself who turns in a bass heavy electro throbber.
