Third release on Die’s Clear Skyz label sees him rope in some help from his Bristol chums.

Featuring on the new ‘Skate or Die’ EP, Die’s got in not only Leonie Laws from the Breakbeat Era days but also Interface and man of the moment, Break, with whom he collaborates with on the title track, ‘Coming from the Top’.

Kicking off with a Studio One dub sample the track immediately transcends into a speeding juggernaut packed with a fatal bassline.

Mixing in Die’s ability for creating dancefloor filling, jump up tuneage, with Breaks’ crunching kick and snares, this track comprises an arsenal of talent.

‘Coming from the Top’ is a solid amalgamation of jump up sensibility, breakbeats, dub and addictiveness that is already a firm favourite of DJs including Goldie and Hype.

With D&B credentials spanning the distance from Bristol Zoo to B&Q, this release shows Die’s finally coming of age in terms of production and style with this new label.
