Who’s Afraid of Detroit (Stanton Warriors Remix )

Having been on quite a few mix tapes I finally tracked this nugget down on Beatport, which is only available as a download at the moment.
So many of dance music’s bigger names have been retouched by the Stanton Warriors, so it’s no surprise to see them get on one of the hottest producers around at the moment - Claude VonStroke
The question is, were they commissioned to do the remix, or was it originally a bootleg that Dirtybird licensed?!
That is however of little concern, as the reality is this is an excellent release that will help breakbeat DJs build bigger, better and more musical sets.
Infected by all the elements of the original the Stantons strip it down and layer the deep rooted electronic house vibe of this track over some chunky fat breakbeats.
Simple but very effective.
