vs. Human Resource
has been dropped and the shockwaves are still being recorded.
1992 was a good year for house music and an even better year for Human Resource.
Their classic hit ‘Dominator’ saw amazing commercial success as a massive worldwide club hit. It literally dominated charts and overruled clubs through out ’91 and ’92.
‘Dominator’ was one the first ever tracks to implement the “hoover” effect using a Roland Alpha Juno 2 Synthesizer.
17 years after its initial release ‘Dominator’ gets a fidget facelift in the hands of Crux Records and its head honcho Bryan Cox, with additional remixes by The Bulgarian, Jaimie Fanatic, 3 Is A Crowd, Electric Soulside, Lars Moston, Mom & Dad, Leko, and Oh Snap!
Hardcore rave revival has been in the face of every DJ and blogger lately with everyone giving their stab at a quick white label remix.
But Crux Records
along with Brooklyn Zoo![[a]](http://www.beatportal.com/images/site/misc/wiki_box_a.gif)
were chosen to legitimately remix the track and release a breath of fresh air into the genre-changing classic. The crew has done just that and once again made ground-breaking steps to the twisted glitched out world that is called fidget maximal house.
Guised under the term electro house, it is the most prevalent genre in playlists and charts and Crux has proven its one of the Grand daddies in exclusively creating, releasing and developing this sound and artists.
Among those initial reports of charts and play lists are Tommie Sunshine “These are going to kill!” So much so that he licensed one of the Crux remixes to his new Ultra Records CD due out in November.
Equally down with the release is NY’s DJ Fame saying, “ These are wicked of course!” Wearhouse Music’s Lee Mortimer is in agreement, “I prefer the Bryan Cox mix. I’ll be given this classic remake a spin for sure! The Jaimie Fanatic track is hot too!”
Bryan’s mix proves why he is known as one the innovators of the New York Fidget sound, with escalating synths, sick basslines and body jackin’ sounds.
Cox’s take reinvents the Hoover into a mind bending experience with a 2008 feel.
Tweaking and ascending note scales rip into a powerful chuggin rhythm that sends the track into dance floor mayhem! Other Crux crew remixes use the classic Hoover sounds with old school breakbeats, and elements of B-more, electro, and rave.
The Bulgarian remix hits hard with it’s driving beats and bass.
More upbeat than his usual bangers, he hits on point full force with a massive assault during the old school breakbeat breakdown.
Jaimie Fanatic takes a more classic feel with the track staying close to the original sound of the song while giving it a 2008 update.
The rest of the Crux Crew puts their own flavor on it, every track outstanding in it’s own right! With such an amazing release it’s easy to understand all the support and even easier to hear.
