New Christian Cambas Single

The new Christian Cambas single is locked, cocked and just about ready to rock! Featuring the laconic vocals of The Static Age, ‘Sirens’ is Christian at his genre-busting best! The release features a remix from Finnish luminaries Matti Heininen & Erkka Lempiäinen (aka Komytea) who have remapped ‘Sirens’ under their Squash 84 moniker. DJ Magazine has already described it as “a laidback, audibly-complex night-black anthem” & “Cool, fresh and exciting music”. Keep an ear out for it over the coming weeks.

New Devilock Records release inc. Thomas Penton Remix!!

The next release on Christian’s Devilock imprint comes from hotly-tipped newcomer Byron G. Also boasting a remap from America’s Thomas Penton, ‘Blue Moon’ has been loosening the floor-tiles at the majority of Hernan Catteneo recent gigs. Release date is set for March 12th, exclusively at Beatport, but you can check it well in advance (well now in fact!) via that terribly handy player on Devilock’s MySpace page!

Christian’s has been continuing to push the underground sound of Athens into 2008. Once again he played host to prog-god and all-round Way Out West-er Nick Warren for a special night at the home of all good Athenian clubbing: The Hall. And indeed he was back there again last weekend for… Sex! Sound-tracking the Greek capital’s most full-on night, ‘Sex’ is the city’s premiere whip-cracking cult fetish all-nighter!

Devilock Records Update

Following their remix of ‘Sirens’, comes Matti & Erkka’s own Squash 84 release on Devilock in the form of the ‘Captured Girl’ EP. Then comes not one but TWO Christian Cambas remakes for the label. Busy as ever he’s been reworking the new Carl Jurgens single ‘Tulip Sunset’ along with respected EBM Equitant’s all-rounder ‘Menschheit’. Full release details to follow.
