25 September, 2007 | 8.11PM- Section: Music News
Chillin Music, an independent house music label out of Orlando, Florida, drops its 12th release with more funk than George Clinton’s hair-do.
OK, so we can’t really compare it to the Funk Phenom himself, but this release will make sure you are stayin’ alive.
All 4 cuts have a unique delivery and showcase each of the artists in all their glory.
With previous releases from Chuck Love, Johnny Fiasco, Q Burns Abstract Message, da Sunlounge, Alexander East, Sound Navigators, Funky Butta and many more, Chillin keeps the fire burning with their latest heat.
Chillin’s 12th release is a funk-filled 4 tracker that is set to rock the disco-tech.
This piece of work won’t soon leave the bags of the DJs who wish to ignite the dancefloor.
The Littlemen bump fo’ real, Holyfield!
If you believe in Heaven this is what they are dancing to on the Clouds.
Gotta get away?
Well, dance into the sun.
This mix has more sway than a canoe on the open seas.
So, smile… ha… Ha… And dance those blues away!
Funky Butta turns in a deep chugger that will have both main floors and the warehouses workin’ it.
This funk tinged disco-tech mix takes you on a ride that you won’t want to get off.
Sleazy McQueen and Matt Brownell aka Tres Gueros team up for a rumble in the jungle of disco madness.
If Studio 54 were still around, you bet this would be a Nicky Siano or Larry Levan fave. Who’s got Disco Fevah??
Jaywood’s Cocktail Mix - Jaywood takes it underground to work it all day and late night! Old school, new school.... Tru school! Twisted treats fo’ dat azz!
Chillin shows that there’s more to Florida than just breakbeats, Micky Mouse and orange juice.
