“Dark, deep and devilish good” was how I first described Celeda’s ‘The Underground’ when I first heard it at the start of the decade.

The kitsch wordy tale of being taken to the underground became an instant “underground” anthem and an acapella essential ever since. 

The cross singer’s latest offering ‘Amazing’, like her appearance on ‘Music Is The Answer’, is equally powerful and memorable and is set to go off big time, now she has a new home in Nervous Records.

There’s also a handful of varied mixes courtesy of Pornocult, Trevor Simpson, Cajjmere Wray and the Hoxton Whores, amongst others.

And as with what’s gone before, ‘Amazing’ works another hypnotically anthemic chorus over a darkly stark backdrop, with Trevor Simpson’s mix in particular delivering more beef from its bones to create the most accessible and peaktime club-friendly version.

The title kinda says it all really.
