Carlos The Jackal
Carlos The Jackal
Bonar Bradberry [Red Music Records...
7 January, 2009 | 10.24AMSounding familiar? It should do, because it’s Gary Numan’s ‘Music For Chameleons’ boldly re-edited and re-released as a slice of nu-disco pie.
This should in no way deter you from the quality of this brash tune, which itself has mutated into a funky, slappy bass, disco monster that’s as fun and quirky as its contemporaries.
Those of you who are into the BBC’s ‘Alan Partridge’ by Steve Coogan will also recognise this as the infamous track that Alan did air guitar to in his mobile home.
Bonar Bradberry
, already infamous for previous disco re-edits, has magically worked out the vocals and breakdowns of the original and transformed it into a 4/4 ‘floor party monster.
