Police name suspects of Carl Cox Venezuelan club shooting

Venezuelan police have named the three suspects they are investigating over the gang shooting at Carl Cox’ gig in Caracas on Saturday, which left four people dead and nine injured.

Julio Delgado, Javier Barrera and ‘The Fat Kid’ have been identified as the shooters, and all are from a barrio neighbourhood in La Castellana, Caracas.

One of the victims, Jonathan Gerardo Valero (20) came from the same area and police believe the attack was aimed directly at Valero.

The shootout, which happened during Carl Cox’ DJ set on the dancefloor, is believed to have been caused by rival gangs fighting over control of the sale of ecstasy.
