In this scratchy video interview filmed backstage at Sanky’s in Manchester, Carl Cox and Jon Rundell explain how they are big fans of New York’s fast rising techno label Teggno Records.

In the interview, Carl Cox says, “The true sound of techno that comes out of New York is, as far as I’m concerned, on that label”, and goes on to explain how he’s a big fan of the label, so much so, that he recently toured Mexico with Lance Blaise, Teggno’s label head.

Jon Rundell continues that Teggno has pooled together a group of young up and coming producers and he believes that the label is continually evolving.

The interview’s audio isn’t the greatest, but you get the drift of their endorsement which is very positive.

It’s not often that you find a big name DJ like Carl Cox wholeheartedly supporting a new label (Teggno is two years old), so they must be doing great things.
