Canada’s Finest House
17 May, 2008 | 12.01PM- Section: Music News Topics: House Nation
Hi-Bias Records, one of Canada’s premier dance labels, is behind what they are billing as the “first-ever original album featuring Canada’s top dance and electronica artists and producers”.
Not before time we say with the wealth of great dance artists to be found just north of America!
Entitled ‘Canada’s Finest House’, the 14 tracks include a trio of Beatport Top 10 hits and no-less-than five top 40s.
All the material is brand new and recorded specifically for this project, available either mixed by Deko-ze or in its unmixed format.
“We’re taking Canadian dance music to the world, and in turn introducing cutting edge music and exposing these talented artists in their own back yard,” says Nick Fiorucci from the label.
And with new material from the hot and heavy Deadmau5 (‘Fifths’), Hatiras (‘What Happened To The Funk’),MC Flipside (‘Just The Tip’), M1 (best known for ‘Feel The Drums’) and Fiorucci with vocalist Kelly Mabasa (‘The Night’) you’ll hear why he’s so confident, too.
