Calvin Harris snubbed by NME, rants on Twitter

Last night in London NME hosted its 2009 Awards ceremony, with Dizzee Rascal picking up the gong for Best Dancefloor Filler for ‘Dance Wiv Me’ (listen to it in the player).

Embarrassingly though, NME made a major faux pas and forgot to invite one of the main artists behind the track Calvin Harris (Rascal provided the vocals).

Cue Harris unleashing a rant on his Twitter.

“What kind of award ceremony has you win an award yet still doesn’t invite you?” ranted Harris. “Would you have loved Dance Wiv Me with no music? When’s the last time an accapella got to no.1? fucking Caravan Of Love.”
