‘Buzzin’ Fly Vol 4’ Remixed
23 October, 2007 | 9.29AM- Section: Music News Topics: House Nation
A pair of tasty new exclusives from Ben Watt’s recent best-selling ‘Buzzin Fly Vol. 4’ mix compilation are now available in their extended un-mixed format on Buzzin Fly.
Pedro Madeira’s ‘Long Shadows’ is another epic journey into the abyss, working the hypnotic, highly memorable hook and spine-crawling bassline with greatest ease.
Christian Prommer’s remix a blend of techno-smart keyboards in juxtaposition to the taut melodramatic hook.
The second track is Spencer Parker’s Detroit-influenced mix of Martin Brodin’s ‘Freaky Bleepy’.
Chilled house becoming a mind-enveloping trek into never-never land with equally eerie synths complimenting the pulsating rhythms and moogy basslines.
Minimal modernism at its resonating best, and with supporters numbering Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Radioslave and Ashley Beedle, we know our comments are just.
