Busted! New Order’s Peter Hook fakes DJing

Filter27 found this hilarious video of New Order’s bassist Peter Hook pretending to DJ at Exit Festival 2006, on the MTV Free Your Mind stage.

At first it looks like old Hooky is doing a decent, albeit enthusiastic, job.

But when the camera zooms in, and the next track mixes in, it’s clear that he isn’t DJing at all.

He’s just twiddling with the faders and knobs pretending that he’s in control of the music. Shameless.

Mr. Hook - not even John Digweed or Richie Hawtin can get tracks perfectly beatmatched without touching the decks or CDJs.
