Tell me a little about your musical background. How did you get into DJing and electronic music in general?
It started about 15 years and I bought my first decks to randomly play around with. After a while I started doing it professionally, playing for Godskitchen, Birmingham in 2004.

Who is the one producer you would love to collaborate with?
I don’t play much of his music because it’s so unique and kind of isolated that it doesn’t really fit my sets but Eric Prydz is someone I’d love to collaborate with. His melodies are just brilliant.

What have you been up to lately? Playing a lot? Or spending more time in the studio? When can fans expect a new release?
I played a lot of gigs in the UK throughout the summer, got a lot of a time in the studio and I’m coming out with a lot of stuff on Doorn records, Garuda and even one on Anjunabeats. I’m basically trying to cross the Trance and House boundaries and kind of marry them.

America’s play ground, Sin City, is hotter than ever with more DJs than ever.

SLEEP ::
Las vegas is a town of many hotels and with so many to pick from how is one to choose? After staying in nearly every las vegas hotel nearly multiple times and we have narrowed it down to 2 depending on exactly which experience you want are looking for. If you are planing to stay directly on this trip in a large scale casino hotel, there is only one choice, Steve Wynn and Encore Hotel are simply the best that vegas has to offer in all areas.  The Wynn and Encore differ from all other Vegas hotels by only offering suits.  There is nothing more elegant in Vegas then the base price room at the Wynn or Encore, from the decor to the quality of the sheets to the hardware used for the fixtures in the bathroom its a class act in every way. The Bathrooms come complete with Dornbracht fixtures which can run up to $1000 per faucet.  The hotels offers numinous restaurants all by top chefs who are all exclusive to the Wynn hotel.

One of the best things about the Wynn is that the size and scale of the in-room dinning menu on which all items breakfast lunch and dinner are available 24 hours a day, therefore if you are looking to have an elegant sit down dinner or a scrumptious Sunday brunch at 4:30am you wish is your command.

If you want to go to Las Vegas and the big Las Vegas style casino hotels are not what you are looking for, there is a brand new boutique hotel directly across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel called Rumor. The rooms at Rumor are slick and sexy like a room at the W Hotel but unzipped a little bit. The rooms fill several 2 story buildings which circle around a lush tropical pool at the center with green grass, palm trees and day beds great for group parties. This hotel has no casino and caters to a younger crowd. Rooms are reasonably priced at less than $100 a night a suits are available for just a bit more and will have you feeling like a rocks star in no time.

 
FEED YOURSELF ::
When it comes to restaurants and great meals there’s no doubt that Las Vegas is a city with more restaurants than your stomach can handle, therefore when choosing a restaurant you want to make sure that, that choice is a good one. To begin lets start with breakfast. Breakfast is an important meal in Las Vegas and getting a good one will certainly dictate how much energy you have through out the day, therefore we recommend Thomas Keller’s Bouchon in The Venetian Hotel. Walking through the upper hallways in The Venetian which are light by gas lamps you are instantly transported to another place and another time. Maybe its Venice in the 1500’s maybe its France in the 1700’s either way the decor leads the way and Las Vegas is certainly the last thing on your mind. Bouchon is Thomas Keller’s take on a classic French bistro where dishes like beignet and mortadella sandwiches highlight the menu. If weather permits you can sit outside or enjoy your meal inside the dining room where your wait staff comes complete with French accents. Just one last nail in the coffin in you being plucked out of Las Vegas and transported to another place and time.

One thing to consider when eating in Las Vegas is that you want to take advantage of certain things which are available in Las Vegas that are not available anywhere else. Thats why for lunch in Las Vegas we choose Joe Stone Crab at the Forum Shops of Caesars Palace. The original Joe Stone Crab opened on Miami Beach in 1913 and opened a sister restaurant in Las Vegas a few years ago. Joe’s in Miami is a sessional restaurant only open from October to May as that is when the delicious stone crab claws are available. However, it is little known that when the season ends they box up and freeze enough crab claws to serve them in Las Vegas all summer. Although frozen there is little to no difference because stone crab claws are served chilled. Making it one of the only dishes in Las Vegas that is not available anywhere else. Make sure you try the Killer King Crab Claws as well, they are the largest we have ever seen in any restaurant. 

Las Vegas is a place where people come from all over the world to do it big. And if you are one of those people who likes to feel as big at the dinner table as you do at the casino table, look no further that Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand. Often haled as the “chef of the century,” Joel Robuchon skills in the kitchen can make chefs like Eric Ripert stark with envy at the sure genius behind his culinary intuition. If you want to impress your friends, try getting a reservation in the private dinning room which is reserved for the restaurants most premier clientele, however it is sometimes empty on certain nights and available simply by asking for it.  Joel Robuchon’s 16 course tasting menu is a journey of food to which you will find flavors, textures and aromas you’ve never before experienced. There’s simply no words to describe it. It’s one a level all by it’s self and we can honestly say its one of the finest dinning experiences anywhere in the world.

THREADS ::
If shopping is your thing, all the hotels have great store and shops but we would like to point out the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Aside from being what is probably the most decadent floor to ceiling marble shopping center that has ever been built, it houses more high end and well known name brands in fashion than any other shopping center in Las Vegas. Of course names like Prada, Gucci, Tom Ford, Channel and Christian Dior have several stores on the strip, the forum shops at Caesars carry all of the smaller in cutting edge designers some which only have one other store likely to be on Madison Avenue in New York City. The Louis Vuitton store at the Forum Shops at Caesars is the only one of the many Louis Vuitton stores in Las Vegas which carries the brands little known mens clothing line, which is only made up of very few well thought out pieces.
 
MOVE ::
Las Vegas is quickly becoming the DJ and nightlife capital of the US over shadowing New York and Miami. For Friday nights in Las Vegas, TAO Nightclub at The Venetian is a good place to start your weekend. Have dinner first in the restaurant downstairs then journey up to the club later on in the evening. On Saturday nights in Las Vegas when in the past you’d be lucky if you could find a half way decent DJ playing relevant music that wasn’t hip hop, Las Vegas has evolved on the EDM scene in such a way that now on Saturday’s the question is not IF there is a DJ to listen to but rather which DJ to go and here. If you are looking for the best names in Electronic Dance Music, Marquee at the City Center’s Cosmopolitan hotel boosts the biggest names in dance music on Saturday night with residencies held by DJ’s like Erick Morillo, Kaskade, Afrojack, Avicii, Dirty South, Tiesto, Manufactured Superstars, and EDX.
If you have any energy left after taking part in the many Sunday pool parties in Las Vegas, make your way over to the Wynn’s Encore hotel for the sunday night club and pool party at XS. Quite possibly the most decadent outdoor nightclub in the world. On a Sunday night, there is no better place to be in Las Vegas unless of course its Memorial Day or Labor Day weekend when Erick Morillo performs at TAO, which are known to be the two highest grousing club nights in Las Vegas.

If you are looking to get off the Strip and do something you can do anywhere else in the world take a short helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon.
