Boss Records joins Universal
23 August, 2007 | 3.06PM- Section: Music News Topics: House Nation
After five successful years working with Ministry of Sound, Boss Records have moved up to the major leagues by signing a pact with Universal Music. The team, headed by 3 Beat Records’ founder Jon Barlow, A&R director Anton Powers and label manager Tim Condran, will ensure continuity in their new partnership.
In recent times the label has unearthed crossover hits including Mason Vs Princess Superstar ‘Perfect Exceeder’, Studio B ‘I See Girls’ and Angel City ‘Love Me Right’.
Expect business as usual as the label coincidentally arrives at Universal’s door to fill the shoes of their now defunct Apollo imprint.
