VIP edits speak for themselves largely within the drum & bass world; purposefully designed versions strictly limited to very special DJs, and ‘Borrowed Time’ is no exception.

Having been circulated around the scene for nearly two years, ‘Borrowed Time VIP’ has been caned rapturously by the d&b big boys from Grooverider right through to DJ Hype, any fledgling DJ within the scene has been without a doubt waiting for the official release of this specially tailored cut with baited breath and sweaty palms.

Originally released on TC’s debut album‘Evolution’, the VIP version is all about massive build ups, big drops and hands in the air euphoria.

Sub Focus garnishes TC’s jump up beats with his futuristic, analogue synth overtones, which in combination creates an adrenaline filled track of epic proportions.

Quite easily one of the biggest tracks of 2008 you will struggle to find a tune with a bigger drop and dancefloor devastating properties; easily worth the wait.

This track ultimately highlights the tenuous links that are appearing between the electro house scene and drum & bass community, borrowing the key patterns and build ups from their 4/4 contemporaries and joining the likes of Fresh and Lomax in this growing sub-trend.
