Tiga’s Turbo Recordings notches up its 100th release this week, and it’s a big one. Dusting off ZZT’s 2010 smash “ZZafrika"—a collaborative effort from Zombie Nation and Turbo founder Tiga—the label has offered up the parts to a diverse list of remixers: Julio Bashmore, Crowdpleaser, Plein Soleil (aka Krikor and Chloe), Tomas Andersson, Gesaffelstein, Light Year & The Finger Prince, Clouds, Sound Of Stereo, Marseille, and the Dutch electro-house don himself… Afrojack!

From Julio Bashmore’s laid-back, melodic reverie to Crowdpleaser’s chunky house dub, the results are refreshingly varied—but then, that’s no surprise for Turbo, a label that has never let its knack for turning out hits get in the way of its more perverse tendencies. The hit here, without a doubt, is Afrojack’s stadium-sized electro-house banger.
