Bomb Alert! MMM (Errorsmith, Fiedel) ‘Nous Sommes MMM’

One of the hottest releases floating about the techno world at the moment is MMM ‘Nous Sommes MMM’, which comes from Berghain resident Fiedel, and Errorsmith’s Erik Wiegand.

The two tracker, released on Wiegand’s quiet and respected imprint MMM, entices dancefloors with its somewhat bizarre soundclash of Germanic trance and ravey techno. Mmmmmmmm.

Lead track ‘Nous Sommes MMM’ clatters along on waves of constantly evolving rave chords, that are twisted with just the right amount of pitch bend to cause a mighty mess in clubs. Wonky is an understatement.

Flip side ‘Let’s Git It On’ is a wonderful hodge podge of electro house circa 2004 - think Tiefschwarz at their best - and stripped back rave euphoria that is impossible to remain stationary to.

Right now, for me, this is one of the most unique and grooviest records of the year.
