Bomb Alert: Eric Prydz remixes Personal Jesus

One of the biggest tracks in Miami this past March wasn’t, strictly speaking, entirely new: Eric Prydz [a] turned Depeche Mode’s 1989 smash “Personal Jesus” into a massive progressive juggernaut steamrolling everything in its path.

Axwell [a] was one of the lucky few to get his hands on the promo, including it in his Essential Mix recorded at the Surfcomber Hotel. (Coincidentally, it was also the Surfcomber where Prydz dropped an earlier version of his remix at the Space Pool Party, four years ago.)

Now, Prydz’ mix is finally available for the masses, along with his rework of Depeche Mode’s “Never Let Me Down Again” and further “Personal Jesus” remixes from Stargate [a] and Alex Metric [a].

It’s just a taste of Depeche Mode’s Remixes 2: 81-11, featuring rarities and new versions from M83, UNKLE, Trentemoller, Francois Kevorkian, Royksopp, and more. The collection comes out June 7, but you can “reach out and touch faith” right now.
