Bloc Festival 2009 launches in Paris and London with Phuture 303

The dust may have only just settled after their sell out festival in March, but those Bloc boys don’t like to rest on their laurels - they’re already back with details of their launch parties for 2009’s festival.

Headlining the two launch parties (which take place in London and Paris on consecutive nights in September) will be acid house pioneers Phuture 303 [a], who tore the roof of Bloc 2008’s finale.

They’re joined by a host of artists from the bleeding edge of electronic music - read more after the jump.

As well as Chicago’s acid maestros Phuture 303, the Paris gig will feature performances from legendary UK techno boffin Surgeon, plus storming electro-spiked live act Synapse.

Taking place in at the city’s legendary Batofar venue on Friday, 19th September, the party is set to introduce the Parisian crowd to rave mentalism, Bloc-style.

Then, just one night later on Saturday, 20th September, it’s back to London’s Cable Studios for the big one.

Once again, Phuture 303 will headline, joined by Brit-techno veterans Billy Nasty [a] and Radioactiveman [a].

The London show will also feature a second dubstep-orientated room, starring Skull Disco’s Appleblim [a], plus bass-bothers Reso [a], Subeena [a] and Bracket.

Follow the link below for more details on both events.

In the meantime, we’ll leave you with some classic Phuture tracks.

Get ready to bang that box....
