‘Black Acid’ by Tim Baker to drop February 16th
10 February, 2009 | 10.51AMDown a long dark alley and just beneath the Metra train tracks in downtown Chicago lies an old rusty and decrepid door. Behind this door is the birth place of the Black Acid Project by DJ/Producer Tim Baker.
In the true spirit of underground electronic music, Baker recreates and captures the soul of “Acid House” perfectly blended with a modern funk technique for a truly wonderful dance floor experience. The opening track, “Black Acid” builds with soaring snare and a acid bass line that creeps in with a dark vocal followed by a flush of cosmic key stabs. The next track, “What Acid” immediately starts
jackin’ with steady percussion and a 303 bass line. Taking things a little deeper, the menacing vocal and tweaked out effects come crashing down for a final finishof mind altering acid house.
