Birmingham set for Trentemøller and Justin Robertson soundclash
3 April, 2007 | 8.54AMNew superstar Trentemoller
will headline a mammoth rave in Birmingham over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, alongside old acid house hero Justin Robertson.
The Ultra+ bash on Saturday 7th April at The Custard Factory features one of the best line-ups Birmingham has seen in a long time.
Danish producer Trentemøller, who has transformed electronic music over the last two years with his cutting-edge minimal, will play a renowned live set with his sidekick DJ T.O.M..
Trentemøller’s new techno beats will be a contrast to fellow headliner Justin Robertson
, who’s renowned for his acid house sets.
And if that wasn’t enough of a reason to trek to the Digbeth club, Funk D Void, another producer who has helped push the dance music envelope with his solid techno tracks, will also spin on the night.
A whole minibus full of quality up and coming DJs will also play at Ultra+ including electro house DJ Luke Dzerziek, Jon Gurd, and breakbeat bad boys The Breakfastaz, plus a large number of Ultra’s own residents.
Tickets are 16 quid and available from www.theticketsellers.co.uk.
