DJ Zinc erupts back to form with the rather good ‘Twelve’.

“Twelve what?” is the question.

Twelve good reasons to buy this tune:

1) It features the irrepressible Zinc vibe that he has maintained throughout the last decade.

2) It’s funkier than a motherfucker.

3) It works well in any kind of drum & bass set, from dark to liquid, so it does.

4) It’s a strict, cane-wielding lesson in how to produce good drum & bass.

5) You’ll be humming it for hours, or even days depending on your memory span.

6) We can’t tell you the other seven, otherwise we’d have to sever and then digitise your ears, flogging them as hearing accessories on our downloads section.

What is it with all these damn numbers, anyways?

If ‘5 Weeks’ wasn’t so downright excellent then we’d be screwing up our faces harder than in Mr. Groombridge’s mathematics classes.

This track is pure class - a masterful combination of perfectly-fitting elements, all tailored with scientific detail and culminating in a liquid audio bomb that sounds like sex to the ears.

Expect deliciously-effective reversed sounds, strings that wouldn’t be out of place in a romantic blockbuster and general production reserved for only the pantheon of production greats.
