With a track name like ‘Bill Murry’ you can’t help but be interested in what on earth Majistrate and Nicol are up to here.

‘Bill Murry’ is a pretty standard drum & bass affair.

It’s something that definitely works in the mix and serves as a nice intermission between the bigger tracks in your record box, but aside from a few interesting samples and edits, ‘Bill Murry’ obviously represents the earlier years of referred-to star’s career, because it’s all a bit of a formality to be honest.

Two step beats and an amen-drum loop – where have we heard this before?

‘Afraid’ is the kind of Hazard-style drum ‘n’ bass that particular producer became famous for in 2003.

To the Mitsubishi crew, this will probably be the best part of their night, but for people who like to have a few bevies – and aren’t completely wankered – it will be grating to say the least.

To its complement, ‘Afraid’ boasts a very full mix that makes the most use of its soundscape, with good drums and fun video-game samples, so have a listen before you buy.
