Bikini [Proton Music]

“Bikini” is Royal Sapien’s debut single on Proton Music, a finely tuned melodic techno track inspired by the sounds (and skin) from WMC 2009 in Miami.

Royal Sapien, aka Ben Mautner, hosts the monthly “Royal Sounds” show on Proton Radio. When he’s not doing that you’ll find him hosting a monthly show on friskyRadio. When he’s not doing either of those, he’s writing & signing new music for his Olaris Records label. You’d be justified wondering if the man never sleeps.

But it goes way beyond that-- artists like Royal Sapien are the backbone of electronic dance music, those that go above and beyond DJ’ing and music making to exert heroic effort in improving their scene. Ben does extensive graphic & web design for Proton Radio, friskyRadio, and many other labels including Chris Fortier’s Fade Records and Jay Epoch’s Particles.

“Bikini” features a high octane techno remix from Russia’s Moonbeam, a chunky & funky ‘Banana Hammock’ remix from Chicago’s Nosmo, and a full frontal ‘Topless’ remix from Boshell & Cody that harks to Sasha’s ‘Mongoose’-- a must listen!
