Big summer tunes for Carl Cox released on Definitive

Jan van Lier released today his third EP on Defintive Recordings,a four-cut EP entitled ‘Rishada’.

Two tracks that were huge bombs for Carl Cox this summer were the title cut, which Cox included on his 2008 Space Ibiza CD, and ‘Si Es Bueno’ which was charted on his top ten for Resident Advisor and other websites and magazines.

The other track on the EP is “Manni Ruman!”, and explosive electro-tech house jacker than invokes fond memories of the old warehouse days. Remix duties are served up on this track by Taurus and Vaggeli, also part of the new wave of American prodcers emerging in the global dance scene.

To signal this release, Definitive Recordings has asked Jan van Lier to do a mix for their monthly podcast, which can be found on their myspace page. Jan has put together an hour-long mix showcasing his melodic yet eclectic electro-tech style. Jan has also compiled a top ten chart for Beatport, which will be posted shortly.
