B.E.N.!  B.E.N.!  B.E.N.!

Recently, B.E.N. [a] made some major accomplishments as a musician, deejay, and President/CEO of two recording labels.  I wrote an article on B.E.N. and on his organization exclusively for Beatportal.  The article expresses newsworthy descriptions and occurrences.  It would be an honor and I would dearly appreciate it if Beatport featured the article in the Beatportal headlines.

B.E.N.!  B.E.N.!  B.E.N.!

He’s one of the world’s youngest rising stars in trance music today.  19 years old with two record labels under the Banshee Worx group (famous for Bonzai Music), Ben Greenwood’s strong efforts as a label owner, a music producer, and an international deejay have earned him immediate kudos in electronic dance music.

“B.E.N. is a well respected individual in the industry; he is a fast yet efficient worker with a wide range of skills, which has established his presence over the last 2 years.”
Brisky (Monster Tunes / CDJ Shop)

Founded in 2005, B.E.N.’s main label, Total Digital Recordings, was one of the first digital release-based labels to deliver oodles of innovative, larger-than-life trance releases to the online community.

In 2006, the immediate success of Total Digital prompted B.E.N. to design Mainframe Recordings [l] - a new sub-divisional label of Banshee Worx (best known for the Bonzai Music inception).  Coalescing electro-breaks, vocal glitches, tinged synth-riffs, and sharp psy-trance beats, Main Frame induces a concept that B.E.N proclaims is representative of “Experimental trance.” The label awaits its initial song releases in late September, 2007, starting with the huge, Ferry Corsten supported ‘Mr. Pit EP’.

Working his way over to America, B.E.N.’s newest song, ‘Superstition’, awaits its release fourth quarter this year on Armada’s American-based label, Coldharbour Recordings.

“The hottest song of mine has to be my collaboration with Mr. Pit, ‘Superstition’. It’s getting some heavy support from Armin van Buuren who said “[I’m] playing it to death.”

Top trance DJ’s Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, John 00 Fleming and Markus Schulz are avid supporters of B.E.N. and both his deejay and production skills.

“I spotted B.E.N. had talent after he sent some demos to me a couple of years back.  I instantly signed him to JOOF not only as an artist but [also as] an employee.  I was so impressed!  Ben has a long, solid career ahead of him; look [at] what he has already achieved at such a young age?!”
John 00 Fleming [a] (JOOF Recordings)

“[B.E.N.] is a quality DJ and producer and a really nice guy too. Definitely one to look out for in the future.”
Niklas Harding (Armada)

“B.E.N. is surely one big DJ / Producer to watch out for!”
Svenson (Svenson & Gielen)

With a plethora of great, new artists and a whetted focus on innovative and quality-driven trance music, B.E.N. introduces a diverse, multidimensional platform of some of the greatest digital trance music artists and releases to electronic dance music today.

“B.E.N. is working hard to make a name for himself in the scene, moving towards good things!”
Menno De Jong (Intuition Records)
