As the year begins to wrap up, we invited one of Berlin’s very own home-grown talents and local resident DJ, Dirty Doering, to swing by the offices and perform a mix for our Ustream channel. Originally resident at the infamous Bar 25 and now part of the deservedly hyped KaterHolzig crew, Doering has been entertaining the masses at some of the city’s best-loved clubs for many years now.

After his breakthrough record ”I Would,” followed up with the massive ”Casino Aquatique,” it was clear to Beatport that 2012 was going to be a huge year for Doering, so who better to come in and help close out 2011 than one of next year’s biggest stars?

Thanks for stopping by Beatport to play for us! Could you tell us a little about your track selection today?

Thanks for your invitation—it was really fun with the BP gang. The set was a special Christmas mix with a lot of my favorites songs of the year.

Are there any new or unreleased tracks you played that we should be keeping our eyes open for?

Yes of course. One track is called ”Heisse Katzen” by Nicone & Sascha Braemer (on Katermukke) and the other is my own “Ete” on Dantze Records.

What’s your DJ setup like these days?

I prefer Traktor Scratch Pro and Traktor S2.

For listeners who want to check you out in person, could you tell us about any club residencies you may have, and where you’ll be touring next?

I was resident in the club BAR25, and it’s moved to KaterHolzig now!!!! But you can listen to me in many clubs in Berlin.
