BeatDetect gets an upgrade

A few weeks ago we launched a new section on Beatportal called BeatDetect that allows users to upload video clips and MP3s of tracks that they are desperate to name.

Today BeatDetect received another upgrade, which will harness the wisdom of the crowd. We’ve added a voting system so that anybody can ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ an ID request, which will further filter out the clap trap and allow the true diamonds to shine.
