Basement Jaxx’ Felix to headline special gig at Fabric

Felix B from Basement Jaxx has confirmed he will headline a special event at Fabric in London on Thursday 3rd May, alongside BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac.

Felix will spin a rare DJ set at the club in Farringdon as part of the launch party for this year’s Lake of Stars Festival in Malawi.

Will Jameson, the festival’s organiser, commented: “It’s taken ages to plan and put together but I feel this event is going to be really special.

“All the DJs have been so good, they are coming together for this one-off London gig to really give the Lake of Stars Festival a huge boost.”

For those of you that don’t know, Lake of Stars is an annual festival in Malawi organised by British DJs and promoters, aimed at raising money and awareness for the southern African country.

Annie Mac, plus resident DJs from club nights Mulletover, Horse Meat Disco, Chibuku and Dirty Disco will also play at Fabric’s Lake of Stars warm-up.

The Lake of Stars Festival takes place from 5th – 7th October 2007.
