Back on the road with Sasha and John Digweed

Our live blog from the Sasha and John Digweed tour bus took a brief break because the DJs flew to Mexico to play three gigs and the bus remained in North America.

I’m now on my way to meet back up with the tour bus, Sasha, John and the rest of the crew in Seattle, where the boys are playing at club Showbox Sodo.

Then we’ll be back on the tour bus after the gig, heading for Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

It feels a little strange to be getting back on that bus, especially having decompressed for a few days.

Of course, this is Sasha and John’s life and they’ve been touring for the best part of 20 years, but for the embedded blogger with one foot in the real world and one in DJ superstardom it’s quite unnerving.

There are many personal thoughts and observations I’d like to share with you all about the tour, Sasha, John Digweed and the culture of touring DJs, but posting these now would be inappropriate as the story isn’t quite finished yet.

We’ve got Seattle, Vancouver, Portland and San Francisco shows to do, and the penultimate Sasha and John Digweed show is set for this Saturday at Coachella Festival, which should be an explosive finale.

To the final leg, then.
