Azuli to host Fridays at Space Ibiza

Top UK house brand Azuli looks set to become major player in Ibiza this summer as the label is hosting Friday nights at Space.

Securing the island’s infamous Space club is a major coup for the London-based label, and as expected label boss Dave Piccioni is more than a little excited.

“Space has been my favourite club in Ibiza for many years, so it’s exciting to be able to host a night there,” Dave told Beatportal.

“We are really going to go for it with the events, and all the signs are looking like it’ll be off the hook!”

Azuli will host 12 consecutive Friday nights at the mammoth venue in Playa d’en Bossa and its line-ups feature some of the world’s best DJs from the house, electro house and techno scenes.

The opening party of Azuli at Space will feature Scotland’s techno duo Slam alongside Swedish dude John Dahlbäck.

Dave Piccioni and Jo Mills are residents for Azuli and will play throughout the summer at the club night.

“We have a great DJ line-up,” said Dave.

“It’s about mixing the old with the new, so we have the likes of Ame, Switch and Dirty South playing alongside old masters like Francois K and X-Press 2.”
