Autumnbomb by Helge Kuhl - Paintwork01

The Traumschallplatten family from Cologne releases a new digital only label, PAINTWORK, for 2009.

Here’s the video for the first releases from a new Cologne talent, Helge Kuhl.

Enjoy!

Helge Kuhl is an artist from Cologne who releases his debut with his
EP “Autumnbomb” on PAINTWORK in March 30th 2009.

Helge Kuhl gains inspiration from his live sets (which he likes to play
loud) and from Elvis as he says himself and is not so much inspired by
contemporary music.
His lyrics and titles are often centered around ambiguity as “Autumbomn” is
emphasising the power of silence as opposed to the atom bomb’s violence.
His tracks show courage and respect for silence as well as big
emotions.

He belongs to a new avantgarde of musicians here in Germany and worldwide
who believe in a conception of new world order with a high disregard for
regulations of genres, politics and stupidity.

His lyrics of Autunmbomb:

“People come for going home
are standing up for sitting down
people think they are alone
and stay together on their own”

His track “Evolution” is hinting at the evolution of the earth, featuring
sounds from animals and showing a developement. It reflects on sex as
such.

Helge Kuhl has so far also recorded remixes For Extrawelts “Im Garten von
Eben” and Jaxsons “Hooneymooner” which were released on the German label Traum and MBF.

The video for “Autumnbomb” was filmed in the city of Cologne and cut by
Talayot von Cube a well known film cutter. It was directed by “Friends of
TRAUM”.
